Joseph Licul

Founder

Joseph Licul is known as a self-starting maverik of the restaurant and entertainment industries. With extensive experience that spans over 15 years, Joseph worked his way to the top from waiting tables at the iconic Delmonico’s Restaurant, to taking on planning and management roles as the brand expanded to Midtown and Southampton. After making a name for himself among the crème de la crème of New York’s fine dining scene, Joseph set out to build his own brands while defining the culinary culture of NY’s up-and-coming Long Island City.

Joseph’s restaurants, Shi restaurant and Skinny’s Cantina, became instant neighborhood classics. He now has a second Skinny’s cantina and Panda location in West Harlem. Joseph went on to introduce several more chic culinary concepts including Bar Truman in the well-known Chelsea Market and a 4 top rated Greek Restaurant called Kavala Estiatorio back in Long Island City, and Jimmy’s 38 NYC in midtown Manhattan.

As New York City reopens and refines its restaurant and nightlife industries, Joseph is thrilled to debut Harbor New York City (20,000sq ft multi-level rooftop), Musica , and Sei Less. Opened in the summer of 2021 Harbor New York City is a rooftop lounge and event venue featuring a rooftop terrace that boasts a retractable roof and floor to ceiling windows with stunning Hudson river views. Harbor is quickly becoming the city’s premiere venue for private events, life music and DJ performances, brunch and exotic cocktails. In the evening, Harbor NYC offers table service and a lineup of NYC’s top DJs. Joseph’s latest venture Musica will be a supper club like no other. Over 20,000 sq ft with private rooms and state of art nightclub. Set to open by year end 2022, Musica will pay homage to all the history of New York City while putting his own twist on today’s day and age. Joseph Licul with Dennis Turcinovic are set to Open the world famous Delmonicos in late fall of 2023.
